Biological Chemistry

Chemistry and synthesis are used in chemical biology studies to better understand biology and disease pathways at the molecular level. Nucleic acids, DNA repair, bioconjugate chemistry, peptides and peptidomimetics, glycoscience, biomolecular structure and function, imaging, and biological catalysis are among the subjects of interest in advanced biological chemistry.  Biophysical Chemistry combines chemistry, physics, and biology to study the structure and function of biological systems using a variety of experimental and theoretical methodologies.     Chemistry and its branches   Analytical Chemistry   Inorganic Chemistry   Organic Chemistry   Chemical Engineering A Branch of Chemistry   Physical Chemistry   Biological Chemistry Basic Chemical Engineering      General Study Short Notes

Physical chemistry is a discipline of chemistry that deals with material interactions and changes. Unlike other branches, it focuses on the physics principles that underpin all chemical interactions (e.g., gas laws), with the goal of quantifying, correlating, and explaining reaction quantitative aspects.  By representing the tiniest particles often dealt with in the discipline, atoms and molecules, quantum mechanics has clarified much for physical chemistry, allowing theoretical chemists to use computers and advanced mathematical approaches to comprehend the chemical behaviour of matter. Chemical thermodynamics is concerned with the link between heat and other forms of chemical energy, while kinetics is concerned with the speeds of chemical reactions. Electrochemistry, photochemistry (see photochemical reaction), surface chemistry, and catalysis are all areas of physical chemistry.
