pH: The acidity or alkalinity scale ranging from 0 to 14, revealing a solution's nature. 

Catalyst: The unsung hero that accelerates chemical reactions without being consumed. 

Ion: Atoms or molecules with an electric charge due to gained or lost electrons. 

Chemical Bond: The force that binds atoms together, whether through sharing or transferring electrons. 

Reactant: Participants in chemical reactions that undergo transformation. 

Product: The exciting result of a chemical reaction, unveiling a brand-new substance. 

Solvent: Liquids that dissolve substances to create solutions, making water the universal solvent. 

Concentration: The amount of a substance per volume, often measured in mol/L. 

Exothermic: Reactions that release heat energy, potentially causing temperature spikes.
